National News: On Sunday, a shepherd grazing goats near the Baghul river bridge suddenly heard a faint sound. When he went closer, he saw a tiny hand sticking out of the soil. The hand was covered in blood and was bitten by ants. The girl was shivering in a weak state. Shepherd W immediately shouted and the villagers gathered. Everyone together informed the police. The police arrived and carefully removed the soil. The girl's entire body was buried in the soil and she was found in a very critical condition.
The girl was first taken to the nearest health center. The doctors gave her primary treatment and seeing her condition critical, referred her to the government medical college. The doctors said that the girl is 10 to 15 days old and her body has become very weak.
Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the ants had bitten the girl's hand badly and it was bleeding. The girl's body was completely covered in mud. She was immediately admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit. Her condition remains critical at present.
Police investigation revealed that the girl was buried at a depth of about one foot. A little space was left in the soil for breathing. Police believe that the girl was deliberately left here so that she would die.
The police is now scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed on Baghul Nadi Road. Efforts are being made to catch those who buried the innocent child alive so brutally. The police said that the culprits will be arrested soon.
